A tale of two friends

A race to the finish line

Love had her thoughts sublimed

What they once called friendship

Was now a deserted ship

Will one of them give in

To the confusions they live in

Once surrounded by love and laughter

They now swim in a sea of disaster

Many promises left behind

Life had other plans in mind

And, they went along

Hoping that is where they belong

Both searching for their souls

Confusing them with their goals

Finding someone who clicks

May leave them transfixed

They did what they do best

Escaping the situation reduced their stress

Leaving one of them in love

To struggle with the thoughts of truelove

Wondering what it could have been

Is a thought in all their scenes

Was it only a moments weakness

Or one of them fell for the others uniqueness

Together they both felt like home

But soon leaned to walk the streets alone

No body knows what will happen next

They will bear the after effects

One thinks this is not the end

Leaving everything on you my friend

This is not how our story will end

As this is not what any one intends

Until we meet again

Let’s prepare for it till then

Wishing each other a good life

Hoping to meet each other in this life
